Like most of you, I live on the sidelines. Cheering on one of my three kids and (occasionally) yelling ;)
I grew up in Oxford, Mississippi, and fell in love with the idea of creating stories with words and photos. I finished my first degree in Journalism from Ole Miss, only to set my creative right-brain aside to nursing school.
Twenty years later, I've found a love of combining photography with this season of life.
I LOVE capturing images of kids doing what they love. Documenting CHILDHOOD.
Candids, lifestyle. , dirty jerseys. REAL life, action shots. Whether it be from a sideline, a backyard, pool deck, or lemonade stand.
This season of life & childhood is short. Let me capture these core memories for you.

My approach
It's simple--let's make photo sessions fun again. Trust me, I've heard my kids (and husband) huff too many times about the dreaded "Family photo session day." It shouldn't be that way. In fact, my whole approach is to ideally not even think it is a photo session. Let's find an activity, a sporting event or game, a hobby, a day at the pool, a day fishing on the bay. Let's capture them doing what they love. DOCUMENTING CHILDHOOD as it happens....while it happens.
